Dear future Brothers and Sisters,
I can’t wait to meet all of you in Paradise.
Our Suffering
All of you who hold the hope of the resurrection in your hearts. All of you who live by faith rather than sight. All of you who continually face trials, suffering, and discouragement. All of you who have kept the faith and have died. I pray for God to grant you all the endurance to remain steadfast in the face of the hardship put upon us.
People ridicule and laugh at us. They will cause us to suffer because of our beliefs. It’s truly terrifying how hateful and violent a person can be just because of our personal religious beliefs. Don’t allow them get to you. Let them say what they want and pass whatever judgment they have upon us.
Satan’s Paradise
We must remember that God does not control this World that we are living on. The Great Opposer who is Satan controls this World. God gave Satan this world so that he may have a chance to rule over his own kingdom free from God. This life filled with war, plagues, destruction, pollution, violence, hatred, apathy, depression, oppression, selfishness, inequality, injustice, anxiety, and death; this is the paradise Satan offers to us. We can choose to partake in its short-term pleasures and suffering, along with the eternal destruction it brings or, we can suffer for a little while but look forward to an eternal Paradise. Each one of us has a choice, some roads are easier and some are harder, we must keep the end goal in mind and pray for guidance when choosing our path.
Be Patient and Endure
Do not be discouraged, downhearted, or give up hope; these times will pass. Let us dust off our sandals and move onward. Do not let Satan steer you off the narrow path that leads to God’s Kingdom. The Lord will let each person reap what they sow when their harvest season comes. We must be like lambs and endure. Do not return violence with violence. Return violence with love. Jesus Christ commanded us to love our neighbor, so let us follow his command.
Our Future in God’s Paradise
Once this World passes away and God brings about a new heaven and earth, our suffering will be of the past. This life will be a distant memory and eventually, it will be wiped away. Have patience and endure. This life is just a grain of sand in the desert of time. Yes, we may have an awful life for a few years or decades but, imagine experiencing 100,000,000,000 years in Paradise! We will remember absolutely nothing of our past sufferings. Brothers and Sisters, it will be worth it. We have this wonderful gift to look forward to. Endure to the end.
Lean on God
Brothers and Sisters, I send you my love, I pray for each and every one of you every day. Sin weighs all of us down, so pray to God for the strength to resist, wisdom to learn from our mistakes, and forgiveness of the past sins we have committed. Thank our Lord in the Heavens for sending His son, Jesus Christ, to be sacrificed for the sins of all of humankind. Seek Him out and He will come to you. Lean on Him and He will support you. Have faith in Him and He will remember you. Nurture the seed in your heart and He will grow that seed anew when His Kingdom comes. You will be rewarded.
I hope I get to meet you all one day.
Love,
Emily
